Focusing on the Small Victories

Today I did not bring a lunch to campus.

I decided to get a jamba juice, went online, analyzed calories and grams of sugar (no thank you I will not be needing 78 grams of sugar in my lunch today). And I went with the healthier choice, despite my reservations regarding the tastiness of a "low calorie dairy base". But the mango mantra is fabulous, and so much better for you. Here's the stats:

Original Size
280 calories (its like a lean cuisine!)
1 g fat
57 g of sugar
9 g of protein (and that's without the soy boost that I added, so it was like 15 grams of protein)
5 g fiber

lots and lots of yumminess.

and I got some hot wheat bread sans the honey butter (and oh how I wanted that honey butter).

Not a perfect day, but I'm trying to rid myself of the belief that if I don't eat perfect I might as well eat whatever I want....

so today was not perfect, but nevertheless, I did not eat whatever I want.
